- Backup rings are a complimentary component to standard O-rings for the purpose of filling the extrusion gap of an O-ring gland in higher pressure applications
- Generally made of higher hardness materials, these effectively raise the pressure capability of standard O-rings to give good pressure resistance with full sealing capability in a cost effective and compact package
- Sized and tooled for a complete range of AS568 series O-rings in 90 durometer NBR and FKM
